Walnut ceilings, warm light, and the old chinar at the window
The room
Our largest room, framed by hand-carved walnut woodwork and a bay window that looks straight into the crown of a hundred-year-old chinar. Mornings arrive slowly here — frost on the glass, kahwa on the tray, and the valley waking up below. The ensuite bath has a deep tub and underfloor heating for the deep of winter.
